Described by The Line of Best Fit as ‘glowing pop talent’ with a ‘vivid and authentic sound’, rising star Gorran headlines a one-off show at The Laylow on July 7th to celebrate the launch of his debut EP, ‘Grown Up’, with support from Henjila.
This event has ended.
With powerful vocals, vulnerable lyricism and catchy melodies, Gorran presents his unique blend of alternative, bedroom and chill pop. He garnered commercial acclaim for his ‘bold inventive gritty pop tracks’ with his first run of singles in 2019 (Earmilk). His songs have been resonating with audiences globally, racking up over 1.5 million streams worldwide. Gorran has seen live success touring the UK with singer KT Tunstall, performing to sold-out audiences across the country. It is this powerful and dynamic live show that Gorran brings to the Laylow this Summer.
With subtle influences from Jeremy Zucker, Lauv and Conan Gray, Gorran’s debut EP ‘Grown Up’ is a coming-of age soundtrack; a collection of songs exploring the emotional twists and turns of entering adulthood. Playful, optimistic pop tracks celebrating new love sit alongside mournful ballads of first heartbreak and nostalgia.
